This Halloween, step inside Haunted Library at BookMaze, a mildly spooky, family-friendly haunted attraction presented by Proxima Emporium as a benefit for Anthology and the Mesa Book Festival.

Join us October 30–31, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM each night at BookMaze in Mesa, Arizona, where the bookstore will be transformed into a haunted literary experience filled with eerie atmosphere, Halloween surprises, and plenty of fun for readers of all ages.

The Haunted Library is designed to be spooky without being extreme, making it approachable for families, teens, and adults. Younger children should attend with a parent or guardian.

Outside, visitors can enjoy a free Trunk-or-Treat featuring local authors. Participating authors will decorate their vehicles, dress in costume, hand out candy, meet readers, and offer books for sale and signing. You do not need to purchase Haunted Library admission to participate in the Trunk-or-Treat.
