How BiblioChart Works
BiblioChart is an independent bestseller ranking system created to highlight books succeeding outside the traditional publishing establishment. Each month, participating authors and publishers report eligible sales, which are compiled into the BiblioChart Top 20 Independent Bestsellers list.
The BiblioChart Process
Step 1: Become a BiblioChart Member
Authors and publishers join BiblioChart through an annual membership. Membership supports the operation, administration, publication, and promotion of the monthly charts.
Step 2: Submit Monthly Sales
Each month, members submit sales data for eligible titles through the BiblioChart submission portal. Sales may include print books, ebooks, audiobooks, direct sales, event sales, and sales through approved retailers.
Step 3: Review & Verification
Submissions are reviewed for completeness, duplicate reporting, and eligibility. BiblioChart reserves the right to request supporting documentation when necessary to maintain chart integrity.
Step 4: Rankings Are Compiled
Eligible submissions are ranked based on units sold during the reporting period. The highest-performing books are compiled into the monthly BiblioChart Top 20.
Step 5: Publication & Promotion
The completed chart is published on Proxima Emporium and promoted through email newsletters, social media channels, and other promotional outlets.
